Century RC stage #3

Decided to keep working it - and add colour and experiment as I progress with some washes etc and see where it takes me. The difference with these uncommissioned pieces is the opportunity to keep changing my mind about what I am trying to achieve and letting the paint and drawing lead me down which ever path they wish.
I am away for Christmas as my wife and I take a relaxing break before the birth of our first child in March, but I will of course be carrying my sketchbook. (To Bermuda not too the birth!)

Century RC #2

Managed to squeeze in a little more work on both this and also the NYVelo painting. But right now I am off to the UK for a week to catch up with friends and see my parents for the last time before they become grandparents. Hoping to visit a few galleries in London including my favourite the National Portrait Gallery.
